Movie nights at the Natural History Museum this March

The Luna Cinema and the Natural History Museum have teamed up to bring eight special film screenings this Spring with ‘Movie Nights at the Museum’.

On the evenings of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of March, film fans can pick from a varied selection of film choices, including recent smash hits, such as the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s electric chemistry in A Star Is Born.

Or enjoy a screening of Jurassic Park whilst sitting amongst some of the planet’s oldest artefacts, or the family-favourite and aptly chosen Night at the Museum!

All screenings will be shown in the majestic setting of Hintze Hall underneath the jaw-dropping25m long Blue Whale skeleton called “Hope”. Every guest will also get access to the ‘Wildlife Photographer of Year’ exhibition on the evening of their screening and will receive complimentary popcorn.

George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said: “This is the third time we’ve teamed up with the Natural History Museum and it’s always an incredible success, not to mention a truly memorable film experience watching a classic movie in the museum. We’re thrilled to offer a new season of screenings on the museum this Spring, with some of the year’s best films taking to the big screen, including our first ever screenings of award winners Bohemian Rhapsody and A Quiet Place.”

Lucy Woodbridge, Head of Visitor Events at The Natural History Museum, said: “Movie Nights is a truly unique experience, where else can you watch a film whilst surrounded by some of history’s finest natural artefacts? We are really excited to be partnering once again with The Luna Cinema following the huge success of our Halloween and Valentine’s Day seasons.”
