The Magic of Christmas at ZSL London Zoo

Sprinkle some extra magic over the festive season this December by journeying through the animal kingdom to celebrate the magic of Christmas at ZSL London Zoo.

From Saturday 30 November to Monday 24 December, the Zoo is inviting kids to become Keepers’ Little Helpers – joining Santa’s elves in preparing Christmas surprises for some of the 18,000 animals to enjoy.

Families can then journey through a festive wonderland to Meet Santa in his magical grotto at the heart of the Zoo, taking home a festive family portrait and special gift.

Spend a very merry day discovering the hundreds of species that call London Zoo home with 12 Animals at Christmas, a series of festive animal talks featuring the Zoo’s residents opening their very own Christmas presents.

Enjoy the Zoo’s festive atmosphere, with Swiss-style chalets serving up tasty treats such as hog roast, toasted marshmallows and mulled wine for grown-ups.

Once the day is done the fun is far from over, as this year families can also settle down with popcorn to watch free Festive Movies every afternoon at the Zoo – including family favourites Arthur Christmas, The Polar Express, Elf, The Muppets Christmas Carol and more.

The Zoo is also hosting an extra special christmas VIP Breakfast on select dates: guests will have exclusive access to the Zoo before it opens to the public to enjoy a delicious breakfast with Mrs Claus at the Zoo’s Terrace Restaurant, before being whisked away by helpful elves to Meet Santa.

ZSL London Zoo is great for a festive day out this Christmas. Find out more and book tickets online now at www.zsl.org/zsl-london-zoo/whats-on/the-magic-of-christmas. Prices start from £12 as well as the usual entry fee.
