MBNA Thames Clippers, London’s leading River Bus service, is taking part in London Festival of Architecture (LFA), the world’s largest celebration of the built environment, with family friendly activities on board during June.

The “Boats, Bridges and Boundaries: Art Cruise”, hop on board and grab one of the brightly coloured activity packs as you board at London Bridge City Pier, from 1 to 30 June 2019. Inspired by the river and the Bauhaus movement, the pack contains stickers and playful drawing activities based on the architecture of the river, encouraging passengers of all ages to let their creativity loose and design boats and bridges.
Return to London Bridge City Pier to post your creation into an otherworldly Bauhaus Postbox for a chance to win one of three prizes. The machine will then generate new challenges to fulfil in the London Bridge area.
The “Boats, Bridges and Boundaries: Art Cruise” activity pack is included in the price of a regular MBNA Thames Clippers ticket from single to return or River Roamer tickets. Kids go free with a Family River Roamer, an all-day hop-on hop-off ticket for two adults and up to three children (15 years and under; kids under five years travel for free as standard) for just £35.60 when you book online.
Designed for anyone aged four and above to enjoy, this free family activity has been created in partnership with Team London Bridge, designed by Pencil and Help. Visit www.thamesclippers.com/boatsandbridges for more information.
Tours last just over an hour, cost £28 per person (including VAT) and are bookable via the NLA website here.
