Ellwood is releasing Learn To Draw videos every week for children and viewers of all ages to follow along. Alongside these, he has created free colouring-in PDFs to download from the Old Royal Naval College website. The fun and free-to-watch videos and PDF colouring-in sheets are themed around the Old Royal Naval College and its rich cultural and nautical history.
Nick is an award winning illustrator whose work can be seen in newspapers, on book jackets and across the museum and heritage sector. In his work Nick celebrates and explores both stories from today and from the past observing and questioning people’s behaviour, actions, characteristics and quirks.
Nick started working with the Old Royal Naval College two years ago developing the brilliantly engaging children’s and family trail for the Painted Hall (read our review here) and has just released a new set of illustrated booklets/concertinas for children ‘Tales From The Old Royal Naval College Greenwich’ including quarrelling astronomers, misbehaving royals and tales from out at sea!
Nick regularly holds children’s drawing workshops, exhibits across the UK and is a lecturer at York St John University.
