Zippos Circus is back on the road

Zippo Circus is touring throughout London until the end of October and you can use code ZC35 for up to 40% off bookings.

Zippos Circus is back on the road following a break due to COVID-19 with the highly-acclaimed Big Top tour Rebound! starring a diverse cast of thrilling artists from around the globe.

And, due to the increased demand for tickets and the popularity of Zippos Circus in Brighton amongst both ‘staycationers’ and locals, the circus has EXTENDED its stay in Brighton for an extra week. See the show at Hove Park Brighton until 23 August before they head for East Ham and then Hampstead Heath, London.

The show is presented by Zippos’ first female Ringmistress – Britain’s own Tracy Jones while our veteran Ringmaster Norman Barrett, 84, takes a break for this season due to COVID-19. Tracy will present a fast-moving spectacle like no other as astonishing acrobats and aerialists, comics and daredevil motorcyclists come together for this year’s colourful production.

Tracy appears alongside co-star Brazilian showman Paulo Dos Santos, who is a multi-talented comic, acrobat and martial artist – and stands at just over a metre tall.

Returning by popular demand is the famous Globe of Death with its team of motorcyclists performing high-velocity stunts. Plus, amazingly ‘elastic’ tumblers from Kenya; comic antics from French funny man Emilion; nail-biting knife-throwing from the Czech Republic; foot juggling from France; hand-balancing from the Garcia family featuring their talented teenage sons; and high-adrenaline skills via an astonishing Wheel of Steel and an upside-down ‘skywalk’ act. And much more!

COVID -19: The show complies with all COVID-19 health and safety measures including social distancing seating within household/party ‘bubbles’ in the Big Top, enhanced ventilation, PPE for staff, deep cleaning and random non-invasive temperature checks for selected visitors. The wearing of face coverings is voluntary as the audience will all be facing in the same direction.

Martin Burton, Founder and Director of Zippos Circus, commented:
“I cannot tell you how pleased we are to be back on the road again. We have worked tirelessly with the government and public health authorities to get the show back on tour in line with official regulations and guidance and are now confident that we can do so in a COVID-secure manner. The outdoor nature of the circus and well ventilated Big Top plus socially distanced seating and a range of new hygiene and safety measures will all help ensure that Zippos Circus will be a safe place for both our performers and families to enjoy and we look forward to welcoming everybody to our new show.”

Zippo Circus is at Figges Marsh from 17 September until 23rd September and at Streatham Common from 24th of September until 30 September. Zippo is coming to Peckham Rye from 1st until 6th of October (use code use code ZC35 for 30% off bookings) and then Broomfield Park from 8th to 13th of October (use code ZC35 for 30% off bookings).
