Camp Kindling: UK’s summer camp for families is back for 2022

Adventure by day, party by night, Camp Kindling is a weekend summer camp for the whole family, where grown-ups can finally have as much fun as the kids.

Set in a stunning forest location, just 40 minutes on the train from London, Camp Kindling kicks off with a rip-roaring Opening Parade and Patrol Games, where families cheer on their chosen Patrol, before launching into three days packed with adventure, live music, new friendships and life-affirming inspiration.

By day, Camp Kindling offers a choice of more than 100 activities for families to participate in together – whether it be mountain biking (with bikes for children and adults), climbing, learning astronomy, building shelters or making flower headdresses.

After dark, the Camp transforms into a magical forest festival where kids and their grown-ups can dance to live music from more than 50 music acts  including The Cuban Brothers, Rylan (DJ set) and CBeebies’ Nick Cope.

Over at the Auditorium, there will be bedtime stories at dusk for the younger campers. Then after dark, the stage plays host to an inspiring programme of talks and late-night comedy, aimed at older children and adults. Full programme to be revealed later this Spring.

Meanwhile, adults seeking respite from a busy day of adventuring can book on-site childcare and check in to The Sanctuary, a woodland haven providing wellness treatments and wood-fired hot tubs set against the backdrop of  a stunning Pinetum.

Camp Kindling offers a delicious range of street food catering for all dietary requirements, as well as a fully stocked bar for the adults.
