In The Neighbourhood is back at Victoria Park for 2022

All Points East festival's FREE offering for families is back for 2022. In The Neighbourhood is an amazing four-day programme of the biggest and best summer activities and entertainment for all ages – all of which you can enjoy for FREE!

The free programme, in collaboration with Tower Hamlets Council, the local community and local organisations, takes place between two massive weekends of music from headliners including Gorillaz, Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk, Tame Impala, The National,
Disclosure and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

In The NBHD gets the bank holiday vibes started early from Sunday 21st August – Wednesday 24th August, making it the perfect destination for families and fun-loving Londoners.
This summer, In The NBHD have partnered with more local organisations than ever before to put on a jam-packed week of entertainment, including a Walkabout Entertainment throughout the event, ensuring everyone is immersed in the delight that is In The NBHD.

The Outdoor Cinema is back with a fantastic lineup once again, pleasing both young and old alike. Movies include children’s favourites (The Incredibles, Spiderman – No Way Home), 80s classics (Back To The Future, Dirty Dancing), musicals (Mamma Mia) and new releases (The Bad Guys). Ever fancied trying out a new sport? In The NBHD has you covered! Saracens Rugby, West Ham FC and Tower Hamlets Tennis will be holding Give-It-A-Go Sports Sessions where you can try your hand at cricket, rugby, football and tennis. Whether you’ve played before or haven’t, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try! There are also loads of DJs, live music entertainment and sessions from ELAM if the music at All Points East wasn’t quite enough – acts to be announced soon. Join the V&A museum for a range of activities, or channel your creativity with Arts & Crafts. You can choose to harness your musical side with South London Samba, or have a cool down in the Yoga Drop In Sessions. Kids can have some fun in the Kids’ Play Zone or join the SAE Institute for an Immersive Sound Installation exhibition. There’s even more for children to get excited for with the magical and witty storytelling by Children’s Theatre.

Hip Hop Bingo has arrived to give bingo more of an exciting twist, and there’s also a Deaf Rave,
providing some inclusive entertainment for both the hearing and hearing impaired. If you want to unleash your creative side, the Royal LDN are holding a drawing workshop, with Kids Science
Workshops being held throughout the days to inspire young minds.
