For a banquet that showcases the best of modern British cuisine, head to buzzy Upper Street where a delicious five-course festive banquet at 12:51 awaits. James Cochran has curated a variety of tasting menus featuring traditional Christmas ingredients – but with a twist. Begin with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, then indulge in delicious dishes of Brussel Sprout Salad with XO sauce, Roast Pheasant with Coronation Swede and Pearl Barley and Clementines served with White Chocolate, Brandy and Black Sesame – just to name a few.

Floris London Afternon Tea

Great Scotland Yard Hotel have teamed up with iconic perfumery Floris London to bring us a Festive Afternoon Tea. Guests are invited to tuck into a delightful array of Christmas-inspired sweets and savouries, including a Chestnut Mont Blonc choux and a Tangerine & cinnamon bauble. This seasonal menu is available daily from 28th November 2022 until 2nd January 2023 and features a stunning selection of Christmas-inspired treats.

Feeling competitive this Christmas? Visit Swingers, London’s insanely fun golf destination, where a variety of fantastically festive packages are available at both locations. Swingers’ street food stalls will also be serving up delicious Christmas specials – highlights include Pizza Pilgrims’ Cauliflower Cheese Pizza, Crosstown’s seasonal flavours of Black Forest, Pear & Ginger and Roasted Chestnut. Pergola Paddington

If you’re after an Instagram or TikTok friendly wonderland with delicious food vendors then look no further than Pergola Paddington. With Deck The Halls is not only covered in huge trees and log cabins, but this rooftop venue also has five different residents to choose food from. Not only that, but the festive season sees themed drinks, party packages and more up for grabs.

Norma 

Norma in Fitzrovia is celebrating the season with Sicilian-inspired festive feasting menus. Executive Head Chef Giovann Attard has curated a menu that can be enjoyed by groups across the restaurant, or in Etna, Norma’s intimate private dining room on the top floor of the townhouse restaurant, which seats up to 14 guests. Highlights from the menu include Rigatoni with delica pumpkin, walnuts, panrattato and taleggio; Slow cooked spiced lamb shoulder with cime di rapa, Jerusalem artichoke and mint; and Roasted stone sass with samphire, clams, cinnamon, and lemon butter sauce. Festive tiramisu and Warm panettone, crema mascarpone, candied orange and pistachio provide the perfect sweet conclusion to the dining experience.

34 Mayfair

From 2021

34 Mayfair‘s Christmas decor game is STRONG. Whether they are flaunting 14,000 baubles or rocking the apres-ski chic look – they elebrate the festive season in style and 2022 is no different.  With an ‘all wrapped up’ theme you can expect piles of presents under a bauble-adorned tree as well as a Santa’s workshop scene and an elegant terrace that’s covered in red-berried greenery. Their limited edition Christmas Cocktails sound divine and the Brunch Menu is almost in the ‘affordable range’ with dishes starting at £12.75 and the Sunday Roast option at £32.

The Stafford London  

The Stafford London is a magical place to spend Christmas, with the five-star hotel tucked away down an historic St James’s street filled with over 100 twinkling Christmas trees. Celebrated chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen oversees the food at the hotel, which has Christmas party packages to suit all occasions. Choose from four intimate private dining rooms, the exquisite 380-year-old wine cellars or The Game Bird restaurant, and the expert events team will design an unforgettable celebration. Menus range from £85pp to £120pp and include starters such as H Forman & Son Smoked Salmon, pickled cucumber, horseradish crème fraîche; and Devon crab tart with Exmoor Caviar. Main courses range from traditional Roast turkey with all the trimmings to Turbot meunière with lemon pomme pureé and Morecambe Bay shrimp. For dessert there is a classic Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or Black Forest gateau with winter berry sorbet

Sushi Samba Covent Garden

Combining foliage with massive baubles and BOOM – you have a festive tropical wonderland in the heart of Covent Garden. Plus, the menu of Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian fusion favourites is sure to wow.

The Wigmore 

The Wigmore is serving mouth-watering festive menus this Christmas, with sharing platters and set menus perfect for celebrating the season with friends, family and colleagues at this central London pub. The sharing platters include the likes of The Wigmore’s signature XXL Stovetop Cheese Toastie; Masala spiced scotch-egg; Buttered crumpets with steamed cock crab; and Cured meats and cheeses, all accompanied by your favourite wines and beers. For a full festive meal, The Wigmore’s three-course Christmas menu offers joyous specialties of Pork rillette; Turkey pie; Gingerbread ice cream and much more. Found, Lost Property, St Paul’s 

Let festive magic be felt by all at Found, Lost Property’s brand-new, ground-floor bar and restaurant in the heart of St Paul’s. Head chef Rumel Pinnock has created an indulgent 3-course festive set menu bringing seasonal flavours to life. Begin your meal with a roasted butternut squash soup or Ham Hock Terrine followed by roast Turkey ballotine or Pan-fried Fillet of Sea Bass for mains and finish off with a scrumptious dessert or cheese board and enjoy festive Mince Pies served with Tea and Coffee at the end! Alex Webb on Park Lane 

Alex Webb on Park Lane is the new restaurant from the MasterChef: The Professionals winner, at InterContinental London Park Lane. Epicureans are encouraged to treat themselves Alex’s tempting festive dishes this Christmas, all inspired by nostalgic flavours and the talented chef’s childhood memories. Four and seven-course menu are available, accompanied by a specially created festive cocktail and optional wine pairing. Menu highlights include Glazed pig’s cheek with crispy pork skin, potato foam, crispy onion, and pork jusMaple & cumin-glazed duck breast with red cabbage parcel, crispy bacon, pickled cherry gel and Madeira jus; Pan-seared hake with white bean cassoulet, clams, mussels, sea herbs, beurre blanc and crispy salsify. To finish, diners can enjoy the traditional Homemade Christmas pudding with eggnog ice cream, candied orange and redcurrant.

Macellaio 

Celebrate in style with family and friends this Christmas at London’s favourite Italian restaurant, Macellaio. Choose between their six sites, South Kensington, Soho, Fitzrovia, Union Street or Battersea and tuck into the sustainable, andc carefully aged and prepared meat, paired with a glass (or bottle) of wine from their extensive wine list. 

The Christmas Menu offers 4 courses that champion all of Macellaio’s most iconic dishes, including Burrata Genovese, Beef CarpaccioTrofie with Genoese PestoT-Bone Steak, Fassona Bone-In Ribeye, and Rhum Babá.
