Want to get your NYC fix in London? The newly opened 411 bar in Angel is the place for you. Inspired by the creative energy of New York’s Soho district, The 411 is a vibrant bar with some cool things in store for after work drinks, date nights and even dinner with the family. Here’s our three reasons you should visit:
1. The vibes:

The 411 offers a chilled atmosphere that is perfect for families during the earlier hours of the evening but then morphs into a atmospheric bar inspired by timeless Manhattan lofts. The design features exposed brickwork, bare concrete finishes, oversized artworks, and statement furniture. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light during the day, creating a warm, chilled out vibe and there are plenty of quiet booths and little tables to accommodate parties of all sizes. There is also a DJ in the evenings playing a variety of tunes like R&B, Jazz, Soul and more, making the place feel more like a club come sundown. There’s also pool tables and a couple of different bars dotted around the space making it an ideal location for a party or gathering (no doubt there will be a few festive celebrations in the space come December).
2. Wall Street Experience on Wednesdays

This one is a game for the adults that combines alcohol and money. Imagine stepping into a bustling stock market, but instead of stocks, the drinks are on the trading floor. Every Wednesday, The 411 transforms into a lively “Wall Street” scene, where the drink prices fluctuate based on popularity – just like stocks. And if you’re thinking it will be a poud up or down, you would be surprised as at their last event the prices were fluctuating between £6 per drink (you certainly wanna get two when the stocks are down on this one!).
3. A Taste of NYC

The 411’s menu draws inspiration from the casual restaurant scene of New York City. Indulge in a wide array of American classics, including the iconic Po’boy, Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, and Meatball Sub sandwiches during lunchtimes. From pizzas to burgers to salads, all offerings are reminiscent of the flavors of the Big Apple. Weekend brunch classics like Eggs Benedict, French Toast, and Waffles, along with bottomless pizza and picantés on Saturdays are all on the menu at the 411. When we visited we tried out the buffallo wings as a side, these were a tag on the small side but the sauce was spot on and frickles (fried pickles) which were amazing. As for mains, we indulged in the steak and burger – both were good, the steak a little dry given the price point. Would certainly come back for one of the themed days (brunch sounds like fun!)
4. Crafty Cocktails

We loved the cocktails at the 411; they’re a carefully crafted experience and a big reason why we would return for more. The 411 boasts a perfectly formed house cocktail list that will delight even the most discerning of palates. From American bourbons and whiskies to classic cocktails and craft beers, the drink selection is designed to cater to a wide range of tastes. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just looking to try something new, The 411 has a libation for everyone.
