Have you got a dino enthusiast in the family? Then this is for you! In February 2024, the Horniman Museum and Gardens welcomes “Dinosaur rEvolution,” a groundbreaking exhibition challenging traditional views of dinosaurs. Witness the first UK showing, featuring recent discoveries that unveil dinosaurs in vivid colors, adorned with feathers, quills, and spikes.

Key attractions include animatronic models, including a 7-meter-long Tyrannosaurus, and vibrant artworks by curator Luis V. Rey. Explore touchable fossil casts, dino games, and dressing-up activities. Marvel at specimens like the horned skull of Diabloceratops and the feathered Velociraptor.

Louis Buckley, Senior Curator, expresses awe at fossils revealing feathered dinosaurs, emphasizing the exhibition’s ability to showcase the diversity of dinosaurs, linking them to modern birds.

“Dinosaur rEvolution,” produced by Gondwana Studios, opens on February 10, 2024, until November 3. Tickets will be £9 for adults and £6 for children and these are available from January here, with free entry for Horniman Members and Benefactors.
