What makes a clown funny?
“His Anima Allegra (the Joyful Soul). The clown exists in a state of hysterical joy of being – this is precisely what makes him very funny.” Slava Polunin
Slava’s SnowShow is the recipient of more than 20 international awards, including an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, a Drama Desk Award, and a Tony Award nomination. The show’s creator, Slava Polunin, calls it “Expressive Idiotism”—a poetic blend of absurdity and profundity designed to remind us of the joy in being wonderfully silly.
