The Big Egg Hunt 2025 – 24 March to 27 April – This Easter, Elephant Family and Clarence Court bring a city-wide spectacle to London! Over 100 stunning 2ft egg sculptures, designed by top artists and brands like Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, and Philip Colbert, will be hidden across iconic locations—from Covent Garden to The British Museum. Use the free app to track them, unlock prizes, and support conservation efforts in this unmissable public art trail.

Easter Egg Trail at Cutty Sark is a free family event (with paid entry to the ship) on Easter Weekend 18 – 21 April.

Join the Easter Adventure Quest at Eltham Palace and Gardens, as well as Down House, the historic home of Charles Darwin, from April 5th to 27th! Embark on a thrilling hunt, uncover hidden clues, solve the puzzle, and claim a tasty chocolate treat. Additional charge applies alongside general admission.

FREE Community Easter Eggstravaganza at Castle Square on Friday 18 April from 11 am to 5 pm. Bringing the community and local businesses of Elephant and Castle together this Easter, the day will be filled with dance workshops, face painting, captivating storytelling by the Easter Wizard, and exciting high-energy dance performances from Talentos Dance School with their “The Magic of Spring” show. As well as performances from USDD kids – a disciplined collective of dynamic dancers who will be breaking, popping and Hip Hopping to Afro-Dance and House.  

Easter trail – English Civil Wars is a trail inspired by the English Civil Wars. Fun games, including target practice, tug of war and riddles at Ham House and Gardens on 5 – 21 April. £3.50 per child, plus normal National Trust admission/free entry for National Trust members.  

Easter at London Zoo Family fun, egg hunt and the joy of seeing the zoo’s amazing animals this Easter holiday. 5 – 21 April. Tickets from £21

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Merchant Square – Join the Marvellous Mouse Twins for a magical Easter adventure with storytelling, dress-up, and a fun-filled egg hunt. 11 April. Free entry, donations welcome.

Easter adventures with Bunny Ranger is at Morden Hall Park 17 – 21 April. Prefect spring day out to enjoy nature and have fun.  £3.50 per child, plus normal National Trust admission/free entry for National Trust members. 

Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt – from 29 March to 21 April at Hampton Court Palace gives visitors the chance to hop through stunning palace gardens to find 10 gold bunny statues! Match historical names to their ribbons to solve the puzzle and win a chocolate treat.

A free End of Term Party is at Woolwich Works on 4 April and a fun pay what you can Crafternoon Easter Special is on various dates between 5 and 19 April.

Family Chocolate Making Workshops at Chelsea Physic Garden 🍫✨ Calling all chocolate lovers! Learn how cacao beans turn into chocolate and create your own delicious treats using herbs, spices, and flavorings. Thursday 7, 10 & 14 April, 10am – 12pm. £20-£25. Suitable for ages 5+. Easter Egg Hunt in Cannizaro Park 🐣🌸 A magical Easter adventure as little explorers hunt for hidden treasures in Cannizaro Park’s beautiful gardens. Sunday 20 April, 1pm. £10.99 per child. With 2.8 hectares of green space per 1000 residents, in London we are just few minutes walk away from an outdoor green space. Whether you are interested in horticulture or just love exploring and learning about nature, there is plenty of things to do. Here is what’s going on this April.

Ramadan Lights  running until April 6, 2025, this free event illuminates Coventry Street (near Piccadilly Circus) every night from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, celebrating Ramadan.

Sounds of Blossom celebrates the arrival of spring at Kew Gardens. Splendid blossom and gentle music composed by Royal College of Music students is guaranteed to lift the spirit and help connect us all with nature. Until 6 April. Entry included with entry to the gardens.

Great Fire of London Family Walk an outdoor guided 60min interactive walk on 5 and 12 April exploring the Great Fire of 1666. Tickets from £8.

Celebrate Easter and spring at Camden Market with a week of family fun from April 16–23! Unwind in the Easter Garden with giant deck chairs and blooming flowers, or take on the Easter Treasure Trail from April 18–21

City Nature Challenge 2025 🌿📸 Join the global movement to discover and record urban wildlife in The Regent’s Park! Take part in a Nature Recording Walk on 25 April (6pm – 7:30pm) or drop in for a family-friendly Nature Day on 26 April. Help track biodiversity, explore different habitats, and connect with nature. Free event. The Regent’s Park & Primrose Hill.

The Evolution Garden at the Natural History museum is a journey through life on Earth from the days of the dinosaurs through to today and is free to explore. Check out the Garden Cafe in our latest reel.

Supertato is the fun – filled event at Kew this Easter holiday running from 5 to 21 April. This event is a great way to discover how fruits and veggies grow, explore their shapes and colours and engage in plenty of hands-on activities. The dressing-up zone to snap a photo with Supertato and his friends and coming dressed as a vegetable sounds fun too. Ticket is included with entry to the gardens.

Gorgeous Georgians: Step back in time with Osterley Park and House’s Horrible Histories trail, featuring 10 fun and educational activities about Georgian life. Runs until end of the summer. £12 for adults and £6 for children.

The Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace is a brilliant children’s playground that provides a unique way for the family to explore the history of the Palace. Access to the new garden is included in Palace admission.

Create New Wildlife Habitat at Springfield Park 🌿🐞 Help support local wildlife by building habitat areas for insects, beetles, and small mammals like hedgehogs. No experience needed—just bring enthusiasm and sturdy footwear! Friday 11 April, 9:30 – 11:30am. Free. Springfield Park, London.

Palace explorers: flowers on 8 April at Fulham Palace and Gardens is a delightful hands-on gardening workshop for kids aged 2 – 4 and adults while the Spring Craft Fair on 9 April is a fun family day where kids get the chance to dress up in historic outfits from Fulham Palace’s costume collection with their families for a fun and immersive experience.

Splash, explore, play a day of outdoor family fun at the London Wetland Centre with an adventure playground, a sound garden and our favourite: the mud kitchen. Tickets from £11.80.

FREE Minigolf by Craig and Karl is back at Canary Wharf’s Montgomery Square from 4 April.

Discovery Days: Spring Surprises 🌿🐝 A fun-filled, free family event celebrating the wonders of spring at Hyde Park Learning Centre. Drop in for hands-on nature activities, including pond dipping, a spring nature trail, and interactive games. 8 – 10 April, 11am – 3pm. Free. Register now.

Dino Disco on the 28 March is your opportunity to dance under the Natural History Museum giant whale at this silent disco! With three DJs and tunes for all ages, it’s a prehistoric party you won’t want to miss. £15 per person.

Now Play This 2025 at Somerset House on 11 and 12 April is the UK’s leading festival of experimental games. This year, Folk Games: the stories we play together on 11 April explores community and identity through creativity and play. The Young V&A museum celebrates the creativity of ancient Egyptians with their newest exhibition Making Egypt. A £10 ticket allows multiple entries to this exhibition until Autumn.

The Lion Inside at Southbank Centre is the adventure of a shy little mouse. Featuring puppetry, music and song this show is for all theatre goers aged 3 or more. Tickets from 16.

Playfight is the Edinburgh Fringe Hit show by Julia Grogan that follows three teenage girls navigating adolescence, sexuality, identity, and consent. This raw, funny and unflinching portrayal of young women in a world where sex and violence often intersect is coming to London’s Soho Theatre on 8 – 26 April and it is aimed at ages 16+. Tickets from £11.

Home Song at Talawa Studio is a musical multi-sensory experience with puppetry, interactive soundscapes and a capella singing throughout aimed at babies and their parents. Join young Adwoa and her mum as they embark on a journey to find the true meaning of home, from the bustling streets of Kumasi to the vibrant heart of London. Until 12 April. Beegu is lost on Earth after her spaceship crashes. She is a friendly creature looking to make friends. This delightful play is aimed at 3 to 7 year olds and runs from 22 March until 2 May at Unicorn Theatre. Tickets from £10

Back to the Future: The Musical. Adapted from the much loved blockbuster film this musical is one of the best on London’s West End and our firm favourite!

Sisters 360 at Polka Theatre is the story of the closest, coolest, hijabi step-sisters in all of Bradford who want to win the Tiny is Mighty skateboarding competition against all odds. , there is no doubt about it.  This heart warming play runs from 22 March to 27 April and is aimed at 8 – 12 year olds. A Brief Case of Crazy at Riverside Studios is a heartwarming physical comedy where a magical briefcase drags an awkward introvert into extraordinary events. From 8 to 20 April. Tickets from £7.

Romeo and Juliet at Hackney Empire is the much loved Shakespeare’s story with unaltered original text but told in a new way with original elements of rap, soul and R&B. On 23 – 26 April. Tickets from £16.
