Jack & Zoe Comedy brings A Night of Drama to London’s smallest theatre venues and we are invited to experience – and even take part in – this messy, unpredictable and totally bonkers improv show.
Inspired by the old Elizabethan tradition of staging plays in intimate, communal spaces, this original theatrical experience delivers a delightful rollercoaster of comedic mischief that has the audience both puzzled and amazed by what happens on stage, while keeping them hooked until the very end. There is no given story, and nobody can predict how the show may go on the night but there is plenty of sketch comedy, theatrical spoof, and unscripted surprises.
This highly authentic show is the creation of a talented young performing duo, who met while studying Clown and Theatre at École Philippe Gaulier near Paris: Jack Grossman, also the creative director and Zoe Wohfeld who is also the producer. They are joined by a rotating brave group of comedians and actors as they take to the stage to deliver a one-of-a-kind predictably chaotic and hilarious performance.

The show’s merit is in its creative disruption where both the actors and the audience break through the conventional rules of modern theatre – with the audience chucking banana peels at the actors while they mess about with their lines, deliberately get out of character and create the maximum possible disruption with their behaviour and misuse of props. The result? Hilarious anarchy. Totally bananas.
From their successful debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024 followed by a mini-US tour, and now with a regular show in London and an appearance at Brighton Fringe in May, this highly authentic show gets stronger with each performance and could carry on with the laughs for many more years to come. Jack & Zoe Comedy have produced a show that’s a celebration of everything that makes a live performance unpredictable, beautiful, and very funny.
Come and join the mayhem at one of their performances in London this season, or better still, follow and show support for this ambitious troupe at Brighton’s Fringe this May 2025. Due to its (sometime) mature content, this show is best enjoyed by 16 years or older spectators. Banana peels are provided! Full information is available on their website.
