First launched in 2024 to celebrate the incredible bond between pets and their people, the inaugural festival drew over 3,500 pet owners and their dogs. This year, Amazon is not only bringing back all the best parts but is teaming up with James Wellbeloved to do some good. For every person who attends, James Wellbeloved will donate a product to the RSPCA, helping to stock their food bank for pets in need. The RSPCA will also be on-site, offering valuable talks and workshops on topics like pet first aid and adoption.
A Paw-some Lineup of Activities
Here’s a sneak peek at the list of activities lined up for the weekend:
- James Wellbeloved Agility Park: Watch incredible agility displays or try the course yourself with your dog under the guidance of experts.
- Good Boy Splash Pool: Let your doggie cool off and make a splash in this refreshing pool.
- Barking Heads Wellness Retreat: Treat your dog to a little pampering with DOGA (yoga with your dog) and relaxing massages.
- Live Talks & Demos: Learn from the pros about fostering and adoption, pet first aid, the pet-owner bond, and more.
- Kids’ Playground: The little humans can join in the fun with face painting and interactive pet education.
- Exciting Competitions: Think your dog has the best trick? Enter contests like the Dog & Owner Lookalike, Best Trick, and Most Inspiring Stories.
When you and your pup get hungry, you can grab a bite from the various food and drink stalls. The on-site Amazon Fresh Café will donate all proceeds to the RSPCA. The café will be serving complimentary puppuccinos for all festival attending good boys and good girls!
Leading pet brands, including Lily’s Kitchen, Catit, and Webbox, will also be on hand with their own experiences and exhibits. While the festival celebrates all kinds of pets, please note that only dogs will be permitted on the festival grounds to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals.
