If you’re after a summer family friendly festival that is great for the whol family, Lakefest is a solid shout. Set in the grounds of Eastnor Castle, Lakefest is back on from 5–9 August 2026 with a crowd-pleasing line-up and a genuinely relaxed vibe.
The line-up
Think big, nostalgic, singalong energy:
Madness, The Charlatans, Example, Bananarama, Soul II Soul and more — plus DJs like Todd Terry and Judge Jules across 12 stages (yup that’s right – make sure you’re wearing trainers or walking boots for this one!)
Why it works for families
This isn’t just music on repeat. There’s loads to keep kids busy including circus shows, storytelling and workshops alongisde BMX stunts and gaming zones. There’s also a dedicated kids’ area (including a STEAM-focused stage) and ofcourse great street food, comedy and chill-out spaces that the whole family can enjoy.
