Not managed to get tickets to BST Hyde Park this year? Good news: one of London’s biggest summer festivals is once again throwing open its gates for eight days of completely free entertainment.
Returning across two weeks from 29 June to 2 July and 6 to 9 July, BST Hyde Park’s much-loved Open House programme is back with outdoor cinema screenings, live music, fitness classes, family activities, sport, theatre and giant screens showing Wimbledon – all in the heart of Hyde Park.
And this year’s line-up might just be its biggest yet.
Free Live Music From Norman Jay, Dub Pistols and More

The Rainbow Stage will host a packed programme of performances throughout the event, including sets from Norman Jay MBE & The Good Times Band, Dub Pistols, Trojan Sound System featuring Killa P, Daft Funk Live and the London African Gospel Choir’s acclaimed Bob Marley Reimagined show.
There’ll also be an Official Pride in London Pre-Party headlined by the legendary Sink The Pink, alongside DJs, choirs and live performances celebrating London’s LGBTQ+ community.
Fans of orchestral music won’t want to miss All Things Orchestral, returning for its fourth year on 2 July. Hosted by Myleene Klass and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, the free event promises an evening of cinematic classics and crowd-pleasing favourites.
Watch Wimbledon and Blockbuster Films Under the Stars
The Outdoor Cinema presented by British Airways returns with a strong line-up of family favourites, cult classics and blockbuster releases.
Screenings include A Minecraft Movie, Paddington in Peru, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Wicked: For Good.
Sports fans can also catch every major Wimbledon moment on the festival’s giant outdoor screen, with live coverage running daily throughout the fortnight.
Run With Mo Farah

One of the programme’s biggest highlights takes place on 30 June when four-time Olympic champion Mo Farah returns to Hyde Park for Run With Mo!
The 3km event is open to runners of all abilities and offers the rare opportunity to jog alongside one of Britain’s greatest athletes in one of London’s most iconic green spaces.
Darts, Yoga and Family Fun

Open House isn’t just about music and movies. Visitors can take part in free fitness sessions from MoreYoga and Our Parks, try tennis, basketball and cricket, or head to Girls Allowed Sports Day for an afternoon of multi-sport activities.
Families are particularly well catered for, with storytelling from Chickenshed Theatre, performances from West End Kids, children’s theatre from Little Angel Theatre and sensory sessions for babies and toddlers.
Meanwhile, returning favourites including Plant City: Digger World, Lord’s Community Cricket and Royal Parks Tennis ensure there’s plenty to keep younger visitors entertained.
Eight Days of Free Summer Fun

With festival tickets becoming increasingly expensive, Open House remains one of London’s best-value summer events – largely because it costs absolutely nothing to enter.
Whether you’re looking for a free outdoor cinema, a live music night, a family day out or simply somewhere to watch Wimbledon in the sunshine, BST Hyde Park’s Open House programme has something for everyone.
Open House runs from 29 June–2 July and 6–9 July 2026 in Hyde Park. Entry is free.
