Sadler’s Wells’ annual two-day festival of family friendly events is returning this Easter on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April 2019 and features the UK premiere of Aracaladanza’s Play on the Sadler’s Wells stage.
The Family Weekend sees the theatre transformed into a magical space for children and families with an array of free fun, games, crafts and activities taking place before and after the show. Created for all of the family to enjoy, Play, explores the themes of freedom and fun through a poetic universe of childhood memories which incorporates puppets, projections, balloons and fantastical costumes.
The multi award-winning company, Aracaladanza, has been an indispensable part of the Spanish art scene since 1995, famous for choreographer Enrique Cabera’s imaginative concepts created for family audiences.
The company has been a regular part of the Sadler’s Wells Family Weekend since 2008.
Age guidance: 4+Foyer activities from 1pm to 4:30pm on Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday The show performances are: Friday at 3pm and Saturday at 11am & 3:30pm.
