On Sunday 23rd June the Portobello Spanish Festival returns bringing its vibrant and colourful carnival spirit to the world famous Portobello Road. The festival will bring an abundance of Spanish food, wine, artisans, flamenco and live Spanish music as well as an array of children’s activities and events.
With the life and spirit of an authentic Feria experience, families can share and celebrate all that is loved about Spanish culture on the world famous Portobello Road. Festival highlights for Londoners with kids of all ages include: ‘Flamenco on the Square’ where Danielle Allan from Flamenco Con Gusto will host a day of performances, flamenco workshops and live Spanish music on Tavistock Square, igniting a passion for fiery flamenco dance and music, face painting for kids and of course lots of Spanish foods.

Home to one of the most famous street markets in the world, Portobello Road will be transformed into an authentic Feria atmosphere. This year’s festival is supported by La Tundra and the British Spanish Society.
Food lovers will be spoiled for choice with an array of Spanish food experts serving up delicious bites like Paella, Croquetas, Iberico Ham, Tortillas, Pimientos de Padron and for those with a sweeter tooth, Churros. Nothing pairs better with spicy tapas than regional wines, beer and cocktails, which will be flowing all day. The festival’s United Colours of Portobello Artisan Market is the place to go to shop from an array of fashion, accessories, arts and crafts and traditional handmade products by artisans.
