Boo at the Zoo is back at London Zoo this October half-term! Calling all little monsters and fearless families to join the Zoo’s residents for a spooktacular adventure. From traditional Halloween crafts to hair-raising animal facts, there is something for everyone.
Even the Zoo’s residents are getting into the spirit! Asiatic lions and meerkats will be having their own spooky fun with creepily carved pumpkins filled with treats while all visitors are invited to experience spooky activities and learn about amazing wildlife and the Zoo’s conservation projects.
With over 10,000 incredible animals and a jam-packed itinerary, London Boo at the Zoo guarantees wickedly wonderful family fun. Trick-or-treat yourself to toasted marshmallows, indulge in face painting, and search for the Golden Pumpkin hidden daily for lucky guests to find.
Joining in with the seasonal fun is the meerkat trio: Dracula, Penelope and Frank! They will enjoy their Halloween mealworms treats from creepily carved pumpkins, while the London Zoo’s seven-month-old endangered Asiatic lion cubs, Mali, Syanii and Shanti, get their very first taste of pumpkin spice this season.
Daniel Simmonds, Zoo Operations Manager, says, “Families have been flocking to London Zoo for our Boo at the Zoo half-term celebrations, enjoying pumpkin carving workshops, toasted marshmallows and popcorn. We want to make sure the animals don’t miss out on the fun.”
Boo at the Zoo is a half term event running until 3 November 2024. Visit the Zoo website to find out more about this event and to book your ticket. Members and under 3s go free!
