The Empire Strips Back has landed in London, and it is every bit as outrageous, cheeky, and visually dazzling as fans of both burlesque and the classic Star Wars films could hope for. From sultry Stormtroopers to a dominatrix Darth Vader, this adults only show delivers a high-energy spectacle that’s in equal parts comedy, choreography, and cosplay.
With sold-out shows in Australia, North America, Paris and Mexico City, this one-of-a-kind production has set its sights on conquering London this season.

The production boasts impressive attention to detail, with elaborate costumes and props that pay homage to the beloved characters in the original films. Even the droids have a tiny part in this absurdly fun and raucous experience!
Come (with an open mind) to celebrate the resurgence of burlesque with Boba Fett, Twi’leks, the twerky Luke Skywalker and the delightfully luke-warm Taun Taun as they dance the night away on a soundtrack that blends pop hits with iconic film scores. Transition between acts is a touch boring compared with the acts but we loved that we could use this as an opportunity to get refreshments from the bar.
