Luminarium: Myriad at Woolwich Works – in London just for four days

London glows in the most captivating way as Woolwich Works welcomes Luminarium: Myriad for the very first time. Created by the internationally acclaimed Architects of Air and artist Alan Parkinson, this monumental installation invites visitors to explore a breath-taking world shaped by light, colour and architectural form.

A colourful immersive art installation with vibrant lights and circular structure, featuring people interacting within the space.

Blending art, architecture and sensory exploration, Luminarium: Myriad offers a beautifully immersive experience that sparks curiosity, invites calm and brings a soft sense of wonder.

A world shaped by light and colour

Step inside and explore winding tunnels, soaring domes and interconnected chambers, where natural daylight filters through translucent structures to create ever-changing landscapes of colour and space. Each pathway gently unfolds into the next, revealing shifting hues and subtle transitions that feel both playful and mesmerising. Inspired by sacred architecture and geometric precision, the installation encourages visitors to slow down, look closer and fully immerse themselves in an environment that feels at once expansive, intimate and quietly magical.

A family friendly experience

Designed for visitors of all ages, Luminarium: Myriad is perfect for families, little ones, teens and curious grown-ups alike. It is an experience that brings people together, offering moments of joy, reflection and discovery in a setting that feels both uplifting and calming.

Whether you’re planning a family day out in London or simply looking to explore something new, this luminous installation creates a shared experience and memories that lingers long after you’ve stepped back into the city.

Our tip

Take your time as you move through the installation and allow the shifting light and colour to guide your journey. Visiting during daylight hours reveals the most vibrant interplay of natural light, with each chamber offering a new and beautifully unexpected perspective.

Come and see it at the Fireworks Factory, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich between 1-4 April 2026. This is a timed entry experience, with space to explore at your own pace. Tickets from £8.
