British Summer Time’s Open House families festival in Hyde Park 2019

British Summer Time Festival brings Open House to London's Hyde Park this July.

It’s festival season and British Summer Time in Hyde Park is a London favourite. As well as the usual legendary headliners in the over 18’s part of the fun (Stevie Wonder, Barbara Streisand, Bob Dylan and Florence and the Machine to name but a few) there’s also Open House, the family friendly part of the fun.

Hosted as a collaboration with The Royal Parks, ‘Open House’ is jam-packed with free activities and a buzzing programme running from Monday 8th til Thursday 11th of July 2019. You can expect children’s theatre from Chickenshed Family Theatre, The Royal Parks Showcase, outdoor cinema and yoga with lululemon. There will also be arts, crafts and sporting activities for all ages.

The Playground has giant lawn games for all ages, all week long! For those Alice in Wonderland types, dive into the rabbit hole of Croquet or for something a little more sophisticated, have a go at Boules. Other games include, giant snakes & ladders, garden skittles, giant jenga and giant connect four.

Get your little ones and your mates and have a boogie as Open House will play a range of tunes by up and coming talent from University of Westminster and BIMM London. Taking place from Monday to Wednesday on the Barclaycard stage you can experience outdoor musical acts from Tally Spear, Elyona Biney, Helena Deans, Karim and Z E B E D E.

Barclaycard invites you to reconnect with your senses at the Barclaycard Sensorium. Reset, revive and awaken as you journey through the space.  Immerse yourself in colour and sound, get your taste buds tingling and even add a dash of sparkle to your festival look.  All before the chance to release your inner music star on camera, leaving you ready to go out and get more from the festival with all your senses firing. So, whether it’s taste, touch, sound, smell or sight, be ready to expect the unexpected and get more from your festival. All thanks to your Barclaycard. More info at www.bst-hydepark.com
