Outernet and Tate unveil Samia Halaby and Four Tet collaboration

Starting 14 November 2024, Outernet London premieres two stunning new works by Palestinian-American digital art pioneer Samia Halaby, paired with a unique soundscape by celebrated electronic musician Four Tet.

In a vibrant celebration of art and technology, Halaby’s kinetic paintings—dynamic, geometric digital animations originally coded on a Commodore Amiga—will fill Outernet’s immersive Now Building screens. Accompanied by Four Tet’s experimental soundscapes, these works create a mesmerizing sensory experience.

The installation complements Tate Modern’s upcoming exhibition, Electric Dreams: Art and Technology Before the Internet (opening 28 November), which explores trailblazing tech-driven art from the 1950s to 1980s.
